Volunteer Application Process

 

School volunteers are extra-special people who are committed to making schools the best they can be. Every school in the district needs volunteers. From elementary to high school to adult, alternative and exceptional education centers, educators value the time and special talents of volunteers. Please follow the steps below to become a school volunteer and help students achieve success!

School Volunteer Process:

Call or visit school of your choice. (see District Map)
Submit Volunteer Application at the school of your choice.
(For the safety of our students, staff and visitors) Be cleared by the

          FDLE Sexual Predator Screening process*.
Complete on-site interview, orientation and/or training.
Upon approval by the school principal**, you are placed.
CONGRATULATIONS & WELCOME! You may begin your school

          volunteer experience.
 

*This is required by Florida Law and School District Policy.
**The school principal has the final decision to accept or deny

   volunteers.
